Mother/​Woman/​Goddess: The Tragic Journey of the Female

The infallible legacy of women throughout time is shrouded under a veil of negative connotations, hearsay, and innuendo. This darkened legacy will persist in giving rise to problems within our young society until the truth is uncovered, enlightening the female’s battered history of scorn and triumph in the search for freedom and justice. A lasting foundation for any society is built upon truth, not upon the lies of the past. Under patriarchal theories posted centuries ago, women, absolutely necessary for the propagation of the species as we know it, gained prominence as the sole harbinger of evil into a world of psychological unknowns and sexual taboos.

Perceptions of the moment often drew staunch support on the same level as the conclusive opinions of primitive philosophers and alleged learned men of the time. The world during its early days was no-doubt ruled by vagaries in opinion and when thinking men and warrior groups clashed, muscles usually won out over brains.

Men from early times regarded women as more witch than saint once the move to discredit them grew legs and walked the earth with intentions of destroying the female. It is no wonder the woman’s life on earth has attracted a “second class” aura, sanctioned only when a son was needed to carry on the male traits of leadership within the family, community, and clan.

Such denigration and degradation of women since the beginning of time has devastated and thwarted their progress and has led to major issues within our world, many of which have festered and become a part of our genetic makeup.
